I know these pictures are way overdue(taken in Jan and now it's already Nov).
Partly because i have been a lazy girl and
the thoughts of picking nice ones out of 500 pictures and
uploading them on photobucket just simply puts me off.
Anyway, there was a sudden mojo to blog and finally get my act on it.
So here it goes...
Switzerland - One of the richest countries in the world.
Crew usually labeled Zurich as a boring place and a station they wish they'd never get.
But i would like to think otherwise. The first time i set foot in this country, i just want to go back for the second time.
I love how peaceful it is, even though it's the largest city in Switzerland.
I love the way i feel safe walking on the street, be it in the day or night.
People are just friendly and definitely not racist.
We arrived Zurich in the morning, took a nap and head out to our first stop of the day.

Guess what i saw?

Naked Swiss People
Uetliberg Bahn, a mountain railway brings you to a lookout tower where you'll enjoy different alps in the canton.

That's the lookout tower! It was tough climbing up because i was struggling to keep my balance due to the strong winds and at the same time, my fear of heights is slowing me down to get to the top.
Bird Eye view

No editing! This is exactly how it looks like.
My favourite picture!
Feeling famished after the climb, we settled for Marche. I eat
Rosti, a potato dish, everyday!

2nd DayArosa the day i touched
SNOW and
SKI for the first time.

All the kids looked ADORABLE when clad in their winter gears.

Our Ski gears.

3rd Day
Pilatus
We signed up for Mount Titlis tour but the tour was canceled when we arrived at the bus terminal due to bad weather.
So the tour guide suggested to take Pilatus tour as the price is the same as Titlis.

Lucerne

Lion Monument, a huge figure of a dying hewn from the face of the living rock.

Chapel Bridge

Beside Rosti, another must-try is the CHEESE FONDUE. You can find cheese fondue almost in any restaurants.
It is quite pricey though, about SGD$80?

Verdict: Curiousity fed, wouldn't do it again.
Day 5
Mount Titlis
Today's weather was good, so the tour was not canceled.

Donghua li, the famous gymnast from China discovered a natural statue of Buddha at the peak of Mount Titlis.

one word to describe: SHIOK.

i was feeling uptight on the flyer but this picture didn't show my fear at all.
